My name is Silky Smooth and I am the CEO of 2BeSmooth. As mentioned on the homepage, 2BeSmooth originally started as me wanting to make my own products for myself and then eventually my household. Let's be serious for a moment....outside is expensive! Nothing hurts my feelings more than spending money and it wasn't worth it. In this case I was wasting money on body creams, lotions, and oils but nothing was working for me.
The packaging would say "for dry skin" but then I would be ashy within 2hrs. I needed all day relief but the products that did last were so expensive and it would be for a small container that couldn't even last to 1 month. How you a 16 ounce jar and can't make it to a month?! Anywho, that's when I started getting into thicker creams and butters. I found some that did the trick but they would either be sooo thick where I couldn't evenly distribute it or too oily. I love a nice glisten but I don't need to look like I'm in a body building competition every day.
After some education and spending some money I was ready to try my hand at making my own butter. A little secret about me; whenever I try something new I usually get it on the first try so I was SURE it was going to be exactly what I wanted. Welp.....it wasn't lol. My first attempt wasn't bad at all but it wasn't the consistency or texture I wanted. After a few more tweaks I got to a place where I was satisfied. Insert specific loved one here.
Them: "You should turn this into a business and sell these"
Silky: "ehhhh who's going to want to buy this? My plan was to just make my own products so I won't have to buy in stores"
Them: "Trust me, there are people that will want to buy all natural products."
